A hiking system in Sycamore Canyon forms a wide circle around Donohoe Mountain. It probably makes for a good day hike and all, but I wanted to get up the mountain. To get to the top requires a x-country bushwhack. I mostly followed evidence of use trails through the brush, but I’m pretty sure I made a few new ones. Once near the top, I found a register. Some idiots on the other side of the mountain were engaged in target practice. I didn’t want to become a target, so I didn’t stand exposed on the summit. No sense in getting shot after a hard fought climb!
