NOTE: Do not trespass on private land near I-80 when accessing peaks in this area. Landowners are increasingly unhappy with the careless actions of people violating their property. This peak is located in the National Forest and can be accessed by alternate routes that stay on public land.
Note from Peakbagger:
You are receiving this email because you posted a trip report and/or a GPS track on Peakbagger.com for a climb of Devils Peak or Snow Mountain (both near Donners Pass). "Hiked it from Palisade Trail. Went cross country to south tip of the mountain, then just around the corner to the west side for a climb to the top and easy traverse across the ridge." — TCH • Sep 14, 2013
"Poor snow coverage forced going through more brush than I wanted. About 7 miles round trip with couple thousand feet of elevation gain. Used snowshoes to get half way up, then climbed the rest through snow and ice. Beautiful view from the top, especially looking east at the lakes that are not frozen yet." — TCH • Nov 12, 2012
