"Leading a party for Waymark, based at Trins. From Maria Waldrast. We went to Serlesjӧchl and then to the summit of Serles. There were some fixed ropes. The route is graded F-. Descent was made back to Serlesjӧchl. We went on a path that avoids the summit of Rote Wand and goes over the summit of Lӓmpermahdspitze. One member of the party and I went to the summit of Ober der Maurer, a short distance off the path. The route continues to the summit of Kesselspitze. The whole route involved a lot of scrambling with no fixed ropes. At its best it is on the ridge itself, quite exposed. At other places it goes down the side with some sections having bits of loose scree, needing care. We descended to Trins. Kalbenjoch was avoided by an indistinct path leaving path no 7 at about 2250m. This is a fine expedition, highly regarded by those that did it. It is harder than anything else done on the entire trip." — peter43 • Jul 20, 1995
"Leading Cairngorm Club meet. From Hildesheimer Hütte. We walked past the small lake to the NE of the hut, across some steep rocks tending downwards with fixed ropes and then snow slopes, alternating with scree on the Pfaffen Ferner. Roped up before first large snowfield. Up glacier to Pfaffen Joch and across Sulzenau Ferner to Pfaffensattel. Hence up east ridge to the summit of Zuckerhütl. We returned to the hut and walked down to Sölden to have a rest day on the following day. A good day, warm and sunny." — peter43 • Jul 21, 1984
"With AAC Party. From Hildesheimer Hütte up Pfaffenferner - cutting off corner on rocks to Pfaffenjoch. Rope up. Two ropes to Wilder Pfaff first. The rope I was on up easy snow and the steep ice to Pfaffenscheide. Small rock ârete. Easy rocks, snow, cornice to Zuckerhütl. Down steep ridge and then by easy snow and boulders to Wilder Pfaff. Return across glacier to Pfaffenjoch and hut.

"On a Ramblers' Association hut to hut tour. From Innsbrucker Hütte, having spent the night there. We climbed the east side ordinary route. This goes WSW over grass and rock debris to the foot of the SE rib. The path winds steeply upwards over slabby broken rocks with fixed ropes to a corner. Then it goes a little onto the NE flank and zigzags up the tiny Habicht glacier. The final rocks have more fixed ropes. There was some snow. We descended back to the hut and down to Gschnitztal (Obertal). We spent the night in a barn with hay." — peter43 • Jul 28, 1958
"On a Ramblers' Association hut to hut tour. After an easy day visiting Rinnensee we walked from Franz Senn Hütte on the high level path to Starkenburger Hütte. I climbed Schlicker Seespitze by walking up to Seejochl and on to the summit. I climbed over Hoher Burgstall on the way back to the hut. We stayed the night at the hut." — peter43 • Jul 26, 1958
