"We were pleased to find the road open all the way to the fire tower. In fact, the state forest road was in better condition than Leonard Hill Rd. itself. Somewhere we lost a hubcap, but never found it. We were recuperating from yesterday's climb of Thomas Mt. and didn't look forward to the windy, chilly conditions, so we appreciated the pleasant drive up." — barbaratraver • Apr 25, 2013
"Trek up Cotton Hill with my mom along the Long Path. Enjoyed a stop at the Leanto after getting flipped around the wrong way from the car...Didn't take long to realize we missed where to go Haha. Lots of laughs shared that day on this path. (RIP Mom). " — Mousetek • Jul 4, 2009
