"It was a beautiful hike up to the top and in the area that seemed so unlike San Francisco. I sometimes forget how Much beauty one can find in the city if they only look. Awesome area! " — jeffreybossaller • Jan 2, 2023
"Quick hike up Mount Sutro and then over to Twin Peaks at sunset. Gorgeous views in all directions, especially of San Francisco, Marin County and the Golden Gate.
There’s not much to see on Mount Sutro, but it’s a nice walk up through the eucalyptus." — sareine • May 24, 2020

"Started walk from the western entrance near the Dutch windmill. Continued through the park, with stop to admire the bison. Continued to the very eastern edge of the park and had lunch and coffee on Haight. Returned to the park and found that the botanical garden was free, second Tuesday of the month. Continued my trek west with small detour to the top of Strawberry Hill. Short easy climb completed in about 10 minutes. Rewarded with amazing view of Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. Headed down and west to the truck. " — Mtstalker • Nov 12, 2019
"Hiked through the city and gained access to the summit through Juanita Way stairs and continued up to the path. Trail is a little maze like, but keep going up and you will get to the top. There is street parking here if you want to drive to the trailhead/stairs. Nice view of San Francisco!" — Zardoz • Mar 17, 2017
