"June 1, 2021. A very sweaty climb to the summit. Ropes were in good condition although some of them are not really needed if you have boots or trail runners with good traction. If you are an experienced hiker this trail should not be a problem for you. I’ve done Angles Landing and Half Dome and a few other hikes that could have used ropes but did not have any and this trail was nothing compared to those. So don’t let reviews scare you off from doing this hike if you are not afraid of heights. Hiked to Marymere Falls afterwards. 5.3 miles total and 2,303 feet of eg. " — runningvegan • Jun 1, 2021

"June 1, 2021. Absolutely stunning views! Patchy snow along most of the trail, but I was fine in my hiking boots without traction. Saw others wearing tennis/running shoes. At the summit there is a large buildup of snow along the northern slope that people were walking out and taking pictures on. That block of snow could detach at any time, so don’t walk out on it. "A beautiful winter snowshoe along the high crest to the summit from the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center. Overall rating 8/10, one of the best and most accessible snowshoe routes in this part of the state." — MountainQuest • Jan 17, 2021

"Katie and I went back up to the ridge and found a use trail up to Eagle Point. Nice little walk out with clouds rolling in and out. Kate had fun Glissading into a snow bowl for her first time. She was really on one, eating flowers and whatnot. Super fun walk about and saw a couple Bears on the drive down. Went rock climbing at Waka Beach after." — MatthewWinterberg • Jul 8, 2020

"On a week-long vacation to Port Angeles, WA and Olympic National Park, we drove up to Hurricane Ridge one afternoon and hiked to Hurricane Hill. The trail is normally closed right now due to a multi-million dollar improvement, but the trail just happened to be open the day we were there! They're widening it, making it level (from side to side) with a gravel bed because this is one of the most popular tourist stops in the park so it's going to accommodate the big crowds. It's just not complete yet as of this visit (august 2019). But the views of the Olympic Mountains are fantastic the whole hike up/back. Catch the sunrise/sunset at the right time and peaks like Mt Olympus with it's glaciers will really light up. " — marc • Aug 5, 2019
