"We started our hike soon after 8am and reached the Tinikaran campsite in just under 5 hours. The next morning we were on the move by 2am reaching the summit at about 0615. We had reasonably clear views but strongish winds. Walking thru the Boulders in the dark was interesting - we were back at our campsite by 10 am where we packed up andd then descended. "This is my 3rd major climb in the Philippines after Mt. Dulang-dulang and Mt. Kalatungan. This mountain offers scenic view that only can be seen in the highest mountain of the Philippines." — lorienelmadeloso • Jan 26, 2020

"A 3 days 2 nights climb via the Akiki trail. Good thing the weather is fine on the whole adventure. Temperature dropped at 2°c when we were at the saddle camp. Sea of clouds was seen when we went to the summit. We went down via the Ambangeg trail. " — frankoie • Jan 12, 2018
