"Difficulty: 7/9 Elevation: 2,956 MASL Moving time: 12 hrs Distance: 37.79 KM Steps: 96k Undoubtedly the hardest hike so far in my life. I initially thought that I am capable of carrying around 18kg backpack but the first assault going to sitio Culan humbled me. I opted to let the porter carry my 3kg tent leaving me with a total of 15kg to carry which made a huge difference and made the hike bearable. This was a 3 day hike and on the first was indeed challenging already with the 15kg backpack (first time carrying this much weight for extended period of time). Multiple assaults already greeted us when we entered the forest and upon arriving to the first camp site it was raining heavily. Upon securing our spot for the night and eat our lunch/dinner, we called it a day at 5pm. Around 9pm I woke up due to my body shivering due to the cold. Fortunately i still had my thermal blanket, blanket, windbreaker, two scarfs to keep me warm. Around 2:30AM we started our second day to reach the summit.
