"2023.01.06.-án 23:00 körül indultam Veszprémből. 01.07.03:00 óra elött kicsivel értem Zgorja Radovna-ba. Krm völgyből kezdtem meg a mászást. 11:00-ra értem a Kredaricára. 14:00 ra voltam a csúcson a Mali Triglavon keresztül. Vissza 14:30 körül a Kredarica 23:00-ra az autónál. 01.08. 09:00 otthon voltam. Lefelé kb. 2000m en pihentem 45' vizet kelett főznőm. Hazavezetés közben egy kúton aludnom kellett 2-3órát! A legnehezebb része a Mali Triglav meredek része volt ! Minden lépésnél rugdalva kialakitani a biztos lépést a fagyott hóban.

"Failed, but beautiful attempt. Visiting my friend AK in the Balkans last autumn, with plans of summitting the Slovenian national treasure, Triglav. It being September and quite a hot summer, neither of us were prepared for the first snow of the season the day we hiked -- as in we didn't pack the clothes/gear for it. However, I didn't pack a helmet all the way from the US to not give it a try, so we went until we came upon some heated chalet that served food and had rooms for rent (between Vernar and Tosc) before heating up and turning back. "So... originating from a conversation on twitter, I ended up ascending the Zugspitze a second time, three days after my first summit. This time I took the cable car down, however. Enough is enough :)" — TheTMan • Jul 23, 2020

"Combining arguably the two most scenic routes to the Zugspitze to one gigantic day trip has been a longstanding dream of mine. With perfect weather conditions, and on a weekday (highly recommended) a friend and I finally made it happen. Started at around 5:45am in Hammersbach, went through the Höllentalklamm gorge, two ferratas, and across the Höllentalferner glacier to the summit, where we arrived at around 1pm. Went back to Garmisch through the Reintal valley, which is both beautiful and near-endless. Total trip took around 16h and was about 41km and 3000m elev. gain." — TheTMan • Jul 20, 2020

"That was one of the goals I was preparing for as part of my solo expedition in the Alps! Tried to scale it all the way from Chamonix, but after reaching the top of Mer de glace glacier, got kicked out by bad weather and nasty crevasses on Glacier du Geant icefall. So I took the lift to Aiguille du Midi and went up the 3 Monts route to Mont Blanc and spent the night at Vallot bivouac at 4365m. The next day walked all the way down to the village Les Houches at 1000m altitude. " — Christos • Aug 11, 2018
