This was my 3rd try on Mercedario after attempts in 2006 and 2009. From the last camp (La Ollada) we had perfect weather. Once on the ridge I continued solo to the summit. Beautiful views all around. Busy Aconcagua could be seen about 80km away, but I enjoyed the solitude on Mercedario
