Legend says that on this hill is buried a nephew of Charlemagne. The truth is that here are medieval ruins of nine hermitages (15th century) and a monastery (13th century).
Also took advantage of the mineral wealth of iron and manganese, care must be taken because the mountain is full of wells.
There were asparagus flowers everywhere
and the views of the Mar Menor from the summit are good. On the south side is Victoria Cave, where there are paleontological excavations.
