CSMC club trip. We skinned up under cloud cover. When we got to Burstall Pass, Snow Peak looked intimidating with steep slopes. One would have had to ski down the south facing bowl, or along the SE ridge. Since most of the group had not done Burstall Pass Peak we opted for that instead as the slopes were much more mellow. The snow conditions were a bit crusty, but when we got closer to the parking lot the snow had softened up. The snow stability was all there.
