"Great 4th of July hike. Went up the Brown's Point Trail to the Summit Trail then up to Signal Peak. Descended down and back up to Burger Peak and finished the hike down the Forsythe Canyon Trail to the car shuttle we set up. " — acekelly • Jul 4, 2022
"Andy and I had a really pleasant hike from Pine Valley up to Burger Peak. Thought about heading over to Signal, but we needed to be back in town and didn't want to push it. Creek was flowing most of the way along the trail and minimal snow patches near the top.
About a half mile from the trailhead a mountain lion crossed the trail about 200 feet in front of us. First time I've seen one in over ten years of hiking the western US. We were very thankful to only be a half mile from the end of the hike." — edg • May 28, 2022

"Finally! Third time was the charm for Signal Peak (and we grabbed Burger Peak while we were right by it, too!). Having been thwarted on the Oak Grove campground trail twice - once by fire danger closure, once by excess amounts of snow on the plateau - we decided to give the Forsyth Creek Trail from Pine Valley a try. Sure, I'll agree: it doesn't have the stunning views of Zion that the Oak Grove trail has. It's certainly longer. But it's shaded, which is nice for the time of year we did this; there's plenty of water for most of the hike, so if you need extra, you can filter it (and boy did we ever need more water on the way back...!), and oh my goodness the wildflowers. So many wildflowers, ripe red raspberries, and just beautiful plants and trees. A good quality trail up to the plateau; from there, it's choose your own adventure to get to Signal and Burger peaks. We elected to contour our way up the side of Signal Peak to try to lose as little elevation as possible, and then did a similar thing for Burger. Signal's high point was a bit difficult to find, but Burger's was quite obvious. A long day (as I'm out of hiking shape and I was sick!), but a good day. Glad to finally get #17..." — psychikingjes • Aug 15, 2019

"We started out looking to do Signal Peak and possibly Burger Peak but was uncertain about the weather moving in. We were in a larger group and at the last minute four of us decided to run up to Burger and bag it as well. The weather held out for us while on the peak but we did get wet coming back down." — MoneyPenny • Jul 20, 2013
