"We undertook the trip with my 10-year-old son. We started at 7:00 AM from Rilski Ezera hut, which is located in the picturesque area of the Seven Rila Lakes. Our route passed through the Malyovishki ridge and Malyovitsa peak (2720 m), which is a symbol of Bulgarian alpinism and offers impressive views, including towards the Rila Monastery. The terrain in the Malyovitsa area is rocky, with sections requiring passage over large stones. Although this trek is considered challenging and suitable for advanced hikers due to its length and the required good physical condition, we managed to reach Malyovitsa hut in 6 hours.
