The day began with the warmth of the sun on our face. By the time we were approaching the peak it was snowing. The descent was in a constant drizzle. The weather generally just got worse throughout the day. We enjoyed the views while they lasted, though.

This was a pretty darn long day hike for a peak just over 3000'. Just over 18 miles. We followed logging roads for most of the way. We had to do some bushwhacking for a few hundred yards to connect a couple roads as we reached the top of the ridge. All in all it was a good day.
