"A quick late afternoon hike to knock off another active Fire Tower/Farmington NH high point from the list. I wore my new microspikes this time... definitely needed here. Made it to the top before the sunset and clouds ruined the 360 degree view, which is still pretty impressive. Not enough time to check out Little Blue Job... another day." — SteveM_StickMan • Jan 12, 2021

"Picked a short hike today since it was the first time wearing new hiking boots. Weather was great, good views of Mount Washington but man, did my feet hurt! Few Black flies and gnats. " — rjnick • May 19, 2018

"Beautiful day to hike with Kiki to work on her Fire Quest Patch...what a view from this little peak (even better at little Job). Thanks to the QR code provided by a 4th grade class Kiki was able to know all of the mountains we could see on this 360 degree view. " — shay-shay • Jan 16, 2017
"After visiting Little Blue Job, by mistake, I dropped back down to the pond and up to the tower. Third tower today and each one had the access to the cab locked. Little Blue Job was a better summit." — Nimblefoot • Aug 27, 2016

"A little bit muddy for the hike today making the climb up a tad slippery. Had the summit to myself with great views. Could see the Presidentials and Belknap mountains to the north, west to Monadnock and Wachusett and the view to the east stretched all the way to the Atlantic ocean!" — rjnick • Mar 26, 2016

"Didn't want to rest on the laurels of my 100th summit so went back up to Blue Job and Little Blue Job again. The Whites in New Hampshire are too crowded during weekends and especially holiday weekends so I stick close to those mountains less visited until tourist season is over. " — StoneMan • Sep 6, 2015

"It's been 42 days since I last had a chance to hike up Blue Job and Little Blue Job. It was a great day to visit these local mountains again as I close in on summiting them 100 times." — StoneMan • Aug 30, 2015

"Figured I'd do another local hike and avoid the July 4th crowds up in the Whites, so went back to the Blue Job Mountains again this weekend. Blueberries are arriving so that's a treat." — StoneMan • Jul 5, 2015

"Good day to hike a local mountain and celebrate the 4th. Also started working on two new lists, the Scoops & Loops and the Brewpubs & Hikes. Do a hike, visit one of the places on the lists, have an ice cream and a beer and eventually earn a patch. What's not to like?" — StoneMan • Jul 4, 2015

"We routinely hike Blue Job, sometimes from the parking lot on 1st Crown Point road, sometimes from the other side (From Rte 11, take Ridge road, then take Hornetown road which forks off to the left. go to end of Hornetown road, turn left. Just after the pavement ends, Scruton road will be on your right. There are several places to park along the road. If you have a high clearance vehicle you may be able to drive past the swampy area, up the hill to the gated trailhead on the left. This access road leads to little blue job which has GREAT views, and you can access the trails to Blue Job. Check out the pond, there are usually turtles out on the rocks. There are many side trails to explore, including one that leads to a rock seating group that is pretty cool. If you are a geocacher, there are several caches, and letterbox caches up here. Blue and Little blue are pretty easy hikes, great for kids and newbies. See you on the trails!" — talrcat • Apr 21, 2014
