Started at Byron Reece. Took AT Westbound up and over. Returned via Freeman Trail. At the AT/Freeman intersection, took the AT to Neel Gap/Mountain Crossings. After browsing, returned to parking lot via Hwy 19.

Saw a lot of what appeared to be first-time hikers out on #optoutside Friday. Had to help a group of girls and some dogs who took the Freeman westbound and thought they had already crossed the peak. Didn't know where they had parked either. Finally deduced they had parked at the Byron Reece lot. Gave them directions to follow the white blaze and the bad news they still had to go up to the top and back down.
