My 50th unique summit! Summit achieved with Ryan Byers. Calm and silent on the steep slog up, brutal cold wind on the nice little ridgeline up top. This, for me, is an oddball peak. It stands out from the highway but even then I underestimated it. No trail to the top, but the bushwhack is tame. It's the huge amount of gain in the short amount of distance that'll get ya. Didn't see a register at the top, although there's plenty of cairns. It's a good outing, but be warned that there are lots of private property signs up in this area, and it's important to be respectful of the landowners so they don't close off access.

I also learned that Idaho has cactus. Didn't know.

Real happy to get another big prominence peak in Idaho.
