"Acheived Bessequartz summit with the typical ridgeline approach used for Quartz. Bypassed two ridgeline rock outcroppings to the north, but other than that was able to take the ridgeline all the way up. Good views. From the summit, headed down to the tarn and then traversed back to the ridgeline via a steep sideslope with heavy brush. This trip took almost 10.5 hours car-to-car. GPS said over 12 miles but the GPS probably isn't accurate due to the slow speed." — cloudbreach • Jul 19, 2020
"Winter ascent of Quartz and Bessequartz. Didn't have time for point 4641. Good views of the surrounding peaks around the trees. Took the South Ridge. The traverse was a bit squirrely with a few inches of snow on the ground. Got off route on the way back and ended up with some steep bushwacking. Underestimated how long it would take and had to headlamp for about an hour. Snowshoes were necessary today." — MangyMarmot • Jan 3, 2018
