Pleasant Sunday afternoon amble to compleat the San Francisco 7 Peak Challenge. Ate at Dotties (always good) then took the J train Muni Metro from Powell to Church & 30th. My walk went up the link steps to Bernal Heights then through quiet residential neighbourhoods to Visitacion Knob via Holly Park, Saint Mary’s Park, a footbridge over the I280 John F Foran freeway, Watertower View and Philosophers Way. Bernal and Watertower were fine viewpoints. After visiting Visitacion Knob pleasant descent paths went easily down towards San Bruno Ave where a number 9 bus got me back to Powell in about 40 minutes.
