I started hiking at the trailhead at 8 AM. Then we started climbing up the trail and passing all of the lookouts on the trail. 3/4 of them we climbed for amazing views into the valley where we started. Then as we climbed up further we got views of Glass Dome and the summit of this hike. hen we climbed up to the summit of Tom's Thumb. It had signs for the summit and some amazing views. For more amazing views, we also hiked to the Lookout so that we could see the whole Phoenix Metro area, Cave Creek and the surrounding areas, and the highpoints of Maricopa County, and maybe Blythe in California. There was also a sign at the top of The Lookout, and the hike to The Lookout had amazing views of Tom's Thumb and Cave Creek's Valley.
