"If your friends and family will no longer hike with you because you tell them; “A little bushwhacking,” only to find themselves heading nearly straight up 4000 feet beating back bushes all the way, this hike could restore hope and friendships in hiking with you again. I used the “B word” (Bushwhacking) with some family and friends on this hike and they ran like scared rabbits. Most hikes are a little harder than I anticipate, but this hike was easier than anticipated. If you follow my GPS trail, there is no, I repeat, no hard bushwhacking! The slopes are a small workout, but nothing too difficult. The entire area has beautiful green meadows highlighted by open spaces decorated with lush aspen, spruce, fur and wildflowers. You can restore a desire in your family and friends to hike with you again with this beautiful hike. Unfortunately I thought there was going to be some bushwhacking and used the “B word” and went by myself.
