Clouds surrounding the summit today. Started raining past ledges at 3.5 miles in (Piper trail), so I turned around there (exercising extreme caution while hiking alone today). Rock surfaces becoming too slippery for me to cimb alone (I'm a chicken sometimes). Also, feeling bad plantar fasciitis today. Limped my way back to the trail head. But, I think 7 miles RT on a hurt foot is a good job for today. Of course it's sunny and beautiful back at the car. And, of course I passed by a group of gorgeous, single-looking men just back toward the start of the trail. Too bad they were just starting up and I was just done my day. See, Lord, You need to have him hiking my way, not completely opposite. =) I know, presumptuous of me.
