"Good day in the mountains of Caravaca de la Cruz with my son, the path up to the Collado de la Cruz has a continuous slope throughout the route, near the pass there is a small signposted path to the right but we have climbed the firewall . The views are very good from this peak and you can see the cities of Caravaca and Cehegín and mountains for more than 60 miles. Near the top there were some mountain goat horns by the trail. Already at the summit we have installed a windbreak for the food and the subsequent rest. On the descent we have soaked our feet in a small spring of cold and crystal clear water." — franciscobirruezo • May 8, 2022
"Today we followed the track of the River Argos from Las Fuentes del Marqués to the Barranco de Bejar (Caravaca). The path that takes us to the east side of Morra Gallina Peak is closed so we have to walk.
The trail begins to take height and in the last section is concrete. Just in a 180 degree change of direction you have to climb through a firebreak. This part of the route is difficult but the views are magnificent. Coming back we have eaten at Las Fuentes del Marqués." — franciscobirruezo • Jun 18, 2017
