During my family's third fishing / camping trip, May 1958, at Convict, I, not a fisherman, at age 12, chose to try to scale, solo, Mono Jim Peak. I started around 8 AM, peaked at around 3 and descended by 5 PM. I had wanted to both climb Morrison, which I never did, but see Convict from a different perspective.
