On the way home from a Bank Holiday weekend walking trip to Braemar, we detoured into Glen Isla, to walk up this Corbett. It is a short walk of just over an hour to the summit from the roadhead. It was a pleasant day at first, but a rain shower blew in near the summit, but soon cleared. We followed a path from Auchaven to a col at 610m and then walked steeply up to the summit, where there are good views to the north to Glas Maol, a munro and to the south to Mount Blair, another Corbett.
