"Quick trip out with Holly before the road is shut down. We drove too far so we ended up hiking the Canyon Creek ridge all the way over to Jumpingpound Mt. 14km but a really nice outing." — danradu • Nov 13, 2023
"Tackled this one with my little people today. Windy day but was managed just fine. Super easy summit. Snow is no issue here right now. However the trail up through the forest was quite icy. " — Slogenstein • Nov 13, 2021
"Ascended Jumpingpound Mountain in 1h 15m, attempted to summit Moose Mountain proper, but turned around at North Peak due to high winds and time constraint (ran out of day light)." — yuri • Nov 15, 2020
"I got out with Mike and Feli today for something just to stretch the legs, and this was the perfect hike for it. Plus the views were great. I would love to get out and do this in winter from Cox Hill sometime on a nice clear day. It was super icy through a good part of the trees, so traction was important for safety." — leigh-annewebster • Nov 3, 2018
"Cool wind on top still a nice day. Views of Tiara peak all the way to Black Rock mountain were fantastic views to the south were cloudy. Would like to return one day and hike to Moose mountain north peak." — Randy • Nov 12, 2016
"First time up since the floods of 2013. Forgot how narrow and winding the Powderface Trail Road is. Sunny day and light winds meant I was able to continue over to the second high point on the opposite side of the hill." — Mountainman • Oct 23, 2016
"A pleasant stroll up the summit trail. Snow was slushy and wonderful sunlight. Enjoyed views of Nihahi Ridge, Compression Ridge, and Tiara Peak. Also tried to spot Mt Fullerton to see if we could see Alex and Joad slogging up." — BertB • May 24, 2016
"Long (60km) trip from Dawson. Went up Cox first and traversed to Jumpingpound before running across the valley to Mount Howard. Jumpingpound had knee deep snow in the trees which was mostly avoidable or we were able to walk on top. The rest of the trail is in good shape." — joannaford • Apr 16, 2016
