"Lazy start and I was wondering if I was wussing out sleeping in and taking tram. Snow was all the way down to parking lot - first sign! Then I had to post hole from 0.5km onward and after 8km of post holing it was clear that the right choice was made. In fact, the snow was almost too dicey for the final summit ridge. I was at times going thigh deep. The odd whumpf reminded me of the avy slopes to both sides. Had to au cheval the ridge at the top to avoid triggering something left or right. Almost bailed 50m from summit but then persevered. Super bluebird day. 4:45 hrs and made 4pm tram.

"as the second peak of the day and with snowy conditions, we only had time for the high point so we could catch the tram down. At $37 per passenger i think it is way overpriced and will be back to complete the traverse only via the hiking trail. The Whistlers mnt was the very first summit i did back in 2014 and it got me hooked." — dunynelgeiger • Sep 5, 2015
"Second of a double header this day. Summited high point via east ascent, traversed over to notch at the west point and returned back the same way. Bit of an exciting descent on loose slabs after overshooting the summit on return and ending up 500 meters east of the correct down route. Did a bit of bum sliding on cliff side slopes and in the process ended up with a pair of pants that looked like they'd been attacked by a bear before re-connecting with the first ridge below the summit" — Mountainman • Jul 20, 2013
