"Solo summit on what turned out to be a slightly overcast day with a mixed bag of weather. Had been wanting to explore the hoodoos in this area for some time and after attempting a couple of not so good routes, decided to follow a now defunct trail along the lower base of the Hoodoos and above the Columbia River for about three kilometres. Though dicey in a couple of spots I made it to a rib on the far side where I turned right off the trail and ascended a steep grassy slope and crossing a short meadow connected with an abandoned service road which I followed to the summit of Hoodoo Ridge. After reaching the high point of the ridge, I followed the abandoned service road back to Westside Road and connected to Highway 93/95 south landing less than a kilometre from my vehicle.
