Two of my brothers and our friend made it to the summit of Hayes, first stopping at Peak 4232 and then continuing down the south ridge to the saddle there. We went down a different canyon back to our car. The hike was awesome, and the scenery and the views were pretty good. It was definitely hazy in the east valley, so the views that way weren't too great, but we enjoyed our little adventure and the challenge it provided.
