"Nate, Stephan and I drove to Canmore, where we met Ron. He's been up about four times this year already as it's almost in his backyard, so we just followed him up! It's actually a nice little hike with good elevation gain. The bushwhacking was minimal and the spacing of the trees higher up was more than reasonable. The summit, while small, offers a great viewpoint of the valley and up close views of The Three Sisters and Ship's Prow. It's safe, scenic and not too long but a good workout! I would do this one again, at least in the off-season. I do not have any additional insight into the closures as I find the whole thing confusing. If there is a major issue, it certainly did not deter the other 20 people or so that we saw. Ron was of the opinion that we were fine and not anywhere we shouldn't be." — leigh-annewebster • Nov 19, 2022
"This was a quick morning hike with a great view of classic Canmore peaks. Ascending the east ridge, the trail is well established with an option to take a creek bed for some short and fun scramble sections. Another short scramble to reach the summit. Great view of the 3 sisters. " — ivo • Oct 9, 2021
