a 4 peak day (more like 2 peaks and 2 viewpoints). Fantastic day out with the last good weather day for a little while - snow is coming! Larches were absolutely peaked. Started early and made it up Devils Thumb for sunrise. A great vantage point for it. Lots of tourists go to the teahouse - way more than I thought even. Had to take the easy way up since the difficult route had snow. For St Piran - I'm surprised it's in the Kane book. It's a friggen hike with a max angle of 20deg on trail the whole time. Not sure what makes it a scramble, regardless, superb views especially during larch season, glad to have gone up there! Transition to ski mode begins.... Photos from today turned out GREAT!
