"We were looking for a short rainy day hike. We ended up going with Cumbersome Hill and Point 1510'. We took an old logging road to just below the summit where there was a bit of a bushwack from the high point in the road to the true summit. There wasn't much of a view at the summit, but we got a view from the road as we approached the summit only because we were lucky enough to get a break in the clouds. Shortly after that cloud break a steady drizzle started that just didn't want to let up. We came across the scattered remains of a deer that had been picked clean leaving only the head intact with each of the ears removed. It was a 2 point buck. Pretty gruesome sight. I couldn't help but wonder what may have killed the deer. Certainly no hunter. No human hunter that is. " — Al-Rashid • Nov 6, 2012
