"Met a random person at the meadows on the 12th. They were climbing Langley. At 3am I randomly wake up, see them getting ready, and I went with.
This was completely unexpected and it turned out to be the greatest thing I had done all year.
Plan to do more 14ers now that I know i can handel it.

"We made it to the planned base camp of Upper Boycout Lake on August 31. The plan was to use the base camp at night in between summits of Whitney, Muir, and Russell August 31 - Sept 3. The wind was so high that setting up tents was very challenging. A wind advosory was issued in the meanwhile so we dropped down to Lower Boyscout Camp for the night. Because the wind was still high the next morning, we went back down to trailhead." — cindylouwho_lv • Aug 31, 2023

"#47 of the 50 state high points and first one in a few years since COVID! Whitney was 4 years in the making shutdown by forest fire and COVID border closures. East Face 5.6 with some snow for a 22 hour adventure!" — alexjoseph • Oct 14, 2022
"One of the most amazing days I've spent on a mountain in a very long time. Beautiful views, beautiful weather, amazing company. Not my hardest 14er by any means but still extremely grateful to be the tallest girl in the lower 48 for a moment." — CheshireKatt13 • Sep 20, 2022
