"With hope of a colorful sun set , we made the hike to make our day complete, not much of a sunset but got some nice color in the skies, great temps and no bugs Roger & Lisa" — ramjet1963 • Sep 23, 2023
"Very hot day!!! Wasn’t expecting the incline on the mountain def a tougher for my second home ever!! Fire tower at the top was an amazing view and the summit picture was breathe taking!!!" — darrincapriotti • Jul 26, 2023
"Hiked with Kelly today. Left the trailhead ar 11am with temps in the 70s and a heavy haze from the Canadian wild fires. Summited at 11:28. Had to be 50-60 tourist vacationers on the trail. Views were good but limited due to the smoke. The tower was open and we took turns climbing it. Returned to car at noon. We then headed back to Eagle Bay to find Stillwater Mtn near Big Moose." — garyogden • Jul 18, 2023
"After hitting Castle Rock I drove to Inlet to hike Rocky and Black Bear. Hit Rocky first. Rocky is a short hike with big views. Left the trailhead at 11:00 and summited at 11:15 to find many families enjoying the open view of the Fulton Lake Chain. Returned to car at 11:34 and immediately headed up Black Bear as they both share the same parking lot. About a mile into the hike the trail splits. The blue trail to the summit is shorter and more aggressive. Summited at 12:25. Open view of 7th lake was waiting. Returned to car at 1:28. At this point I decided to drive another 25 miles to climb Stillwater while I was in the area. Unfortunately I never was able to find the trailhead even using the peakery app. " — garyogden • Jun 19, 2023
"Blue trail up, yellow trail down. Some real steep parts on the acent! Trail was muddy but the bugs weren't bad. The most beautiful section was heading down the backside on the yellow trail where I could see the Tongue Range and the alpine flora was awesome. Gorgeous hike. Perfect weather. 5.6 miles.
