"I love hiking. Can you get paid for this somehow? Fantastic views of AFA. Strait up the side of a mountain. Yeesh. Picked off Peak 9500 ft while I was up there. Had to bushwack my way over to the 9500 for about a half mile. Love it!!" — Sacary • Aug 27, 2023
"Flew into Denver, CO with Zach (he stayed behind after Carol's moms memorial service). We preped and got about 3.5 hours of sleep and left for the trail head around 4am. Started the Crag's route up to the Pikes Peak summit in the dark. Fitness felt good. We tried to put up a DJI Mavic Mini drone below he treeline but had issues with wind. After some exploration and butt sledding in the snow fields we continued our ascent on up to the summit. Around 13k we both really started to feel the effects of poor rest and flying in from PA to the elevation. We struggled to say the least up to 14k at the summit where Carol was waiting for us at the visitor's center. Carol bought us donuts and waters - I got Kevin Knezic a PP shirt for letting me borrow his drone and we descended in Carol's MDX. We had to stop at the brake check station due to brake overheating. From there it was a drop off to get Zach's Suburban and back to his house for some ChickFila and off to Taos, NM where we attempted a summit on Wheeler (high point of NM) in the snow." — wiweasel • May 10, 2023
"Took my dog on a walk. I'm new to CO so I'm trying to start easy within the city and expand out to the mountains as I get to know the area better. Beautiful place, easy to get to the summit as well." — edgar-jlopez-roldan • Feb 4, 2023
"Went to visit the Albert’s over Thanksgiving 2022. Carol’s mother had passed just days prior but Zach still offered to drive us up to the summit of Pike’s Peak on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in his Suburban. " — wiweasel • Jan 9, 2023
