Highlights
- In terms of Munros and Munro Tops this peak was orginally regarded as a subsidiary top of Tolmount. Some time ago this was changed so that it became a subsidiary top of Cairn Balloch. This is because there is less drop going towards Cairn Balloch than there is towards Tolmount.

"Cairngorm Club meet. Alone. From the quarry, Glen Clova. Crossed the river where a bridge is shown on map, but bridge no longer there - a new bridge further upstream was not seen until later. I went via the Scorrie to Driesh, then to Mayar. I walked across to Jock’s Road - heavy going with some deep snow. Walked up Jock’s Road (little snow) to Crow Craigies. The descent was via Glen Doll to the quarry. There was mist on top at first, but sun shining from ~ 14:00. There were impressive views of north facing crags." — peter43 • Mar 28, 1982
