"Got it on my third attempt! Finding a legal way up this mountain was not easy. Some of it is public land, but most of it is private. My first attempt took me on a trail that didn’t go all the way up, and my second attempt ended up at a No Trespassing sign. Finally did some map research and figured out how to summit via the electric line easement in State Game Land 166. Coolest thing about this mountain is that there was no evidence of anyone ever having climbed it! No graffiti, no beer bottles, nothing but rocks, and trees, and sky. Take Beaver Dam Road to the gate in SGL 166, walk three miles to the easement. Once on top, bushwhack to the ridge top boulder fields to the north of the easement. Nine miles round trip." — briansnyder • May 18, 2022
