"Parked by a gate at IO 28843 37810, and walked south down the road a little way before turning west onto the Bothar Bhearna na Gaoithe track past the Greenhollows Quarries. On reaching the summit cone I took a small path up through the gorse and heather to the top - with trig point and HP on rock nearby. Then descended and up to a viewpoint to the north-east, with better views over Howth. Then back to the outward track and down to the car.
Cloudy and grey, with a little light rain." — marktrengove2 • Oct 13, 2021
"The wife and I spent a week in Ireland to see, eat and drink in Dublin and Galway. Despite being a tourist vacay to see castles, jails, cliffs and so on we still got in a few hikes. Took the Dart up to Howth Peninsula and did the Cliff trail to take in all the scenery. After visiting the Ben of Howth we wandered over to Howth Head where a local identified all the interesting features of the land." — Nimblefoot • Nov 19, 2017
