"It was quite icy on this hike. I gave my wife my spikes because she was having a bit of trouble with it. My trail runners had plenty of tread to manage well enough. My feet got really cold though. It was about 28 degrees on the climb and warmed up about 5 degrees by the time we descended. Cool little loop at the top goes to a viewpoint, although you couldn't see much up there. A winter storm was coming in and it was so foggy we couldn't even see the cell tower on the summit until we were practically right next to it. Decent first hike of '22." — mikewilliamsjr • Jan 6, 2022

There is not much of a view at the summit with the broadcast tower, but turn right to follow a dirt road to the east side of the summit, and there is a beautiful view to the east from there. (Unfortunately, there is also some graffiti on some of the rocks at the top, and there were a number of empty beer ca..." — Badgerinmaine • Oct 11, 2016
