"After my hike of Big Bickford, not having these peaks on Peakery, I decided to rehike Bald and Artists Bluff. Had lunch on Bald. Lovely views on the summit of Bald and the ledge of Artist's Bluff. The highpoint of Artist's Bluff has no view. It was great to rehike these small peaks!!" — newenglandwarrior • May 26, 2023
"From the Cannon Mt. #4 pkg lot, I followed the Loop Tr. clockwise, ascending Bald Mt. first then Artists Bluff peak and the lookout over Echo Lake. Lots of people on this holiday monday. And although most people exit the loop trail near Echo Lake and walk the road, I continued on through the nice quiet forest back to my starting point on the Loop Trail. Great 360° views from Bald!" — SteveM_StickMan • Oct 11, 2021
"High water kept me from my planned hike so off to work on the list of 'Balds'. Nice loop hike with stops at the famous Artist's Bluff overlooking Echo Lake in Franconia Notch." — goshen-bagger • Apr 25, 2019
"Easy day for Team Snark staying at the AMC Highland Center. Did the bike path through the notch on rented cruisers with a brief stop to go for a swim. Followed by an ascent of Bald mountain then our final meal and evening party." — Nimblefoot • Sep 4, 2016
"Hiked Pemigewasset and Bald mountain to kill time in the morning before meeting up with some friends in the afternoon to climb Waumbek. Did the full loop of Artist Bluff and the short circuit." — Nimblefoot • Sep 2, 2015
"What a great day for a hike. Hiked up to Bald Mt and then over to Artist Bluff. This hike had great views for very little effort. 4 great friends and three great doodle dogs. Life is good, Happy Trails" — bwright • Jun 17, 2015
"A great "primer" for the season. We went up with new hikers, our kids and our dogs. A quick and easy climb with beautiful views of surrounding mountains, ski trails and Echo Lake. Artists Bluff is along this trail and is just around the corner before the summit. We managed to sneak in this hike between rain storms so the views weren't as clear as we'd like. I'd def do this climb again." — Amero4k • Jun 29, 2013
