"This was a very easy trail if you take the upper trail, but the lower trail isn’t exactly a medium/moderate or anything, just a lot steeper. We started farther back than the parking lot, wanted to take in some more walking. Lots of nice birds like the Canada Jay and some Golden Crown Kinglets were hanging around the trail entrance. Making your way up it quite easy, it isn’t all that steep of an incline and doesn’t take too long. You’ll get to a Y where you either go the upper or lower trail. I suggest the upper trail first then come back the lower trail. The peak itself is right before the view. Views were amazing, lots to see including some other peaks in the area. Coming back on the Lower trail we noticed a crazy amount of lady bugs on the rock walls, and I mean anywhere you looks there was at least one lady bug. Coming out we did some bushwacking and there’s lot of pretty views of new growth areas from the clear cutting they’ve done. " — jomo • Oct 20, 2023
"The NBPeaKING group tried their first ever snowshoe summit. After getting stuck on the snowy, icy road, we turned around and snowshoed the rest of the way to the trailhead, then abandoned snowshoes and headed on foot to the summit." — jak5280 • Jan 14, 2017
