"Starting out from Postbridge and following the path up the east side of the East Dart River taking in Hartland Tor first with several newly born calf laying around and then following the bridleway all the way to the Grey Wethers stone circles before lunching on Sittaford Tor. Then tackling White Ridge and Assycombe Hill before returning via Merripit Hill and the road back to Postbridge. 15.8km. Sunny. Solo. " — MuchMoorWalking • May 14, 2022
"A loop walk from the car park by the Fernworthy Reservoir. I took the lane south east from the car park to the edge of the Fernworthy Forest, and then followed a boggy track up over the moor by the forest edge to the summit. I continued to White Ridge. Solo. Damp and cloudy, with a chilly north-west wind, although the rain held off for this hill." — marktrengove2 • May 1, 2017
