"Cairngorm Club overnight meet. After ascending Beinn a’ Chlaidheimh, Sgurr Ban, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, and Meall Garbh with other club members I continued alone to Beinn Tarsuinn, and the west ridge of Beinn Tarsuinn*. I continued to Ruadh Stac Mor and A’ Mhaighdean (very fine views here out to the Outer Hebrides and Skye). By the N shore of Loch an Fada and Heights of Kinlochewe to reach Kinlochewe Hotel at 13:45 where lunch had been arranged. There was no rain on the whole walk. There was mist on the tops of Beinn a’ Chlaidheimh and Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair; otherwise it was clear. * Subsequently found to have the name Suidheachan Fhinn." — peter43 • Jun 28, 1981
