The trail from Tataka is in excellent condition, 10.9 km to the summit, but most climbers stay at Paiyun Lodge, 3400m, about 4 hrs. from Tataka. From the lodge to the summit one needs between 90min. and 2 hrs. (usually in the dark). The upper part is steep, but there are chains all the way to the top.
