I parked in downtown Jerome by the park, made my way up 89 about 2.6 miles, then headed off trail up a ridge. My route worked, but some areas were rough with the vegetation. Especially around the final cliff band before the plateau, the vegetation really gave me problems. But I was able to pick out a route and make it up.
