Access to this trail is directly off Doublehead gap road. There is room for about 2 cars. The trail is not marked but has been semi-maintained recently. It is a very gradual trail for the first half and a very easy hike. Half-way up the trail looks to come to an end and you have to do a 20 foot bushwhack to the next trail, really not a big deal. That is where the trail becomes much more defined and starts to gain a little more elevation. The last bit to the summit is a bit steep but not much more than a 20% or so. It is a typical Georgia summit with lots of large oak trees and views through the trees.
