Was excited to begin this hike because it was 41 degrees at 9 AM, and I got to wear long sleeves and long pants for the first time in a long time. The original plan was to climb Will Thrall Peak, Pleasant View Ridge and then Pallett Mountain. The first two were in the bag, but Pallett Mountain will need to wait for another day due to time constraints. Identified many of the other high points nearby, but unfortunately they remained out of reach today. The Burkhart Trail passes through Cooper Canyon, which is definitely the premier location in the Angeles National Forest. Although this is the best scenery in the entire mountain range, I didn't take many pictures of it, since I was focused on the task at hand.
