We did the normal route from the Cabane des Audannes via the Col des eaux froid. It took about 4 hours to the summit. The glacier was very dry and we avoided the crevasses by joining the ridge a little earlier than normal. There were a lot of clouds around but we had a fantastic view and were completely alone on the mountain. The 2000m descent all the way down to Anzere was an ordeal though. I think the wildhorn is best done with skis in spring but then of course you will rarely be alone.
