Beautiful climb up with a great guide. The peak is rated "facile;" for those little or no mountain experience, it's a meaningful effort without being overwhelming or requiring technical skills.
- Day 1: Hike up to cabin from Les Rousses, 2 to 3 hours on, at times, strenuous scree trail
- Day 2: Depart at 8:30, climb up to peak, first on scree rock, then on a large rocks field and finally on an easy glacier. Aprox. 3 to 4 hours total climbing time. 1.5 hours back down to the cabin, then 2 hours back down to Les Rousses.
