Started on trail next to farm house and garage, down the old 4x4 road. Followed direction off other hiking sites by staying straight at the first intersection, then bearing right at the next one. First section was all downhill. Then it started to climb through a recently logged area. The trail was criss-crossed several times by the logging cut, making it necessary to seek the blazes. Dog chased an adult sized porcupine up a tree, then found a baby porcupine in the logging area. Passed over the grassy and wooded summit before coming to the cliff view towards the east.
